Motivation- the bait; the battery
Motivation has 2 sides to it- the start and continuity. They're like the head and tail of a coin, death and life, good and evil. One cannot survive without the other. I have chosen to call them the bait and the battery.
For most, it's the start that poses the greater difficulty. They tell themselves "if I can just get a hold of myself and start off and kickoff, then I'll be on my way to ascendency." For others, the start is the easiest ploy of the play. It is the long term consistency that bates them into submission. For Ike Peter, it was the former that tugged on him and the latter betrayed Jim Mushood. Who are they anyway? We'll never know because they failed to find their motivation
The bait can be likened to a fisherman with his hook taking a comfortable place on his shoulder and whistling his way down the river. On getting to the river he knows he has to place a scrumptious bait at the end of the hook before he makes a catch. On the part of the fish, she has to believe it will do her good than harm before she makes a feast for it. Like this story, the creator has set in a myriad of baits to move us from our comfort zone to the ascent of a greater plain. Unlike the fish, it's going to be to our benefit when we fall for it.
What's your bait? What motivate you to do the things you do??
To be continued...
